A full-bodied and satisfying breakfast tea, Assam can be enjoyed with or without milk and sweetener. Though the leaves are a slightly broken grade (FBOP), its flavor is robust and smooth without bitterness. Assam tea is famous for having exceptionally malty, smooth characteristics, with little astringency. This harvest is a fantastic example of what makes Assam tea so widely appreciated.
Our Assam black teas come from the Chota Tingrai Estate, in the Tinsukia District of the Assam Province. We work in partnership with Mana Organics to bring these delicious and sustainably harvested teas.
