Licorice Green Tea – Archive Collection
A long-time favorite returns from our Archive Collection, Licorice Green Tea is a must-try for licorice lovers and those looking for a unique, bold flavor experience. This limited-edition blend harmoniously combines the natural sweetness of licorice root with the aromatic depth of spices and the subtle smokiness of Gunpowder Green Tea.
Flavor Profile
The star of this blend is the sweet, unmistakable flavor of organic licorice root, which is perfectly elevated by a medley of anise seed, fennel, and clove. Together, they create a vibrant, naturally sweet tea with warming, spicy undertones. The Pinhead Gunpowder green tea adds body and a hint of smokiness, complementing the sweetness with its earthy character and offering a gentle caffeine lift.
A Bold and Balanced Experience
Licorice Green Tea is a balanced blend that offers a delightful infusion of sweet and spicy notes. Whether you’re a fan of licorice or just seeking something distinctive, this tea provides a satisfying and refreshing cup, perfect for any time of day. Its limited-edition availability makes it even more special—once it’s gone, it may be years before it returns!

Brewing Instructions
8 oz Cup
- Scoop a heaping teaspoon of tea into infuser.
- Heat water to 180° - 190° F (before boiling).
- Pour 8 oz. of water over tea leaves.
- Steep tea for 3-5 minutes (depending on taste preference).
- Remove infuser and enjoy tea!
Potful
Simply add to your infuser one heaping teaspoon of leaf per 8 oz. of water and place it in your pot, then add the appropriate amount of 180° to 190° F water and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the infuser and enjoy.
Brewing Iced Tea
Our opinion is that a cooled concentrate works best, as regular-strength brew tends to become watery as the ice melts. So, use the above leaf quantities, but half the water, allow it to cool, then pour it over ice and enjoy! The brew will dilute down to proper strength as the ice melts.
