Kyushu Sencha – Rich Everyday Japanese Green Tea
From Kagoshima Prefecture in the far south of Japan, our Kyushu Sencha offers an impressive depth of flavor. This approachable Japanese green tea brews a rich, soft cup with a smooth body and very little harshness, making it easy to return to day after day.
The aroma has an almost custard-like richness, while the liquor itself is sweet, brothy, and deeply satisfying. Notes of cedar and a light tartness give the tea structure and lift, balancing its fuller body. There’s also a distinctive sensation many Japanese green tea drinkers know well: cooling across the palate while still feeling warming and grounding overall.
Affordable enough to become a daily ritual, yet flavorful enough to hold your attention, Kyushu Sencha is a wonderful introduction to Japanese green tea and a longtime favorite among our staff and customers alike.
