Hojicha Powder Is Back!
After many years away, we’re delighted to have Hojicha Powder Roasted Green Tea back in stock.
This exceptional Japanese hojicha powder is crafted from the stems of shade-grown tencha, the same carefully cultivated leaf used to produce matcha. During matcha production, those stems and veins are removed before the leaf is dried and milled. Rather than discarding them, the tea makers lightly roast and finely mill them into a silky powder.

The flavor is smooth and nutty, with notes of cocoa, toasted grain, and a soft roasted finish. It is especially delicious in lattes, where milk and a touch of sweetener bring out its rich, roasted sweetness. It is also wonderful in desserts, baked goods, and other culinary creations.
