New Shipment of Tea

We just received a shipment containing three different types of certified organic teas from China last week to replenish our supply. As a newbie to the company and to the tea industry, it was fascinating watching the boxes being opened and seeing such a large amount of loose tea in one place. Not to mention how fresh it smelled and how beautiful the tea leaves looked. We received two green teas - Jasmine Peony and Sencha, and one white tea - White Peony. Notice the bright green coloring of Sencha (top photo) and the variance in texture and color of White Peony (bottom photo), which contains young buds as well as lightly oxidized leaves.
