Elegant and elusive, Yellow Mudan is a rare example of traditional yellow tea craftsmanship. Made from tender buds and leaves, the tea undergoes a careful smothering process known as men huan (“sealing yellow”), which mellows the grassy brightness typical of green teas and transforms it into a softer, more rounded character.
The result is a golden-hued infusion with delicate notes of toasted grain, spun sugar, and citrus peel, all wrapped in a buttery smooth mouthfeel. Light yet satisfying, Yellow Mudan offers a gentle, meditative experience for those seeking something truly unique.

Brewing Iced Tea
Our opinion is that, as with our other supreme quality loose teas, we do not recommend serving over ice.
