Tiger Stripe Boba Tea Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 teaspoons Tiger Stripe tea blend
  • 8 oz water (212°F / boiling)
  • 1/4 cup cooked tapioca pearls (boba)*
  • 4-6 oz milk or dairy-free alternative (depending on desired creaminess)
  • Sweetener (optional, as Tiger Stripe is naturally sweet)
  • Ice

*Cooking instructions for tapioca pearls can usually be found on the packaging. Be sure to prepare them fresh for best results.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Brew the Tea Concentrate

  • Add 4 teaspoons of Tiger Stripe tea to an infuser or teapot.
  • Pour 8 oz of boiling water (212°F) over the tea leaves.
  • Steep for 5-10 minutes to create a strong concentrate.
  • Strain the tea into a heat-safe container and allow it to cool to room temperature or chill in the fridge.

2. Prepare the Boba Pearls

  • While the tea is steeping, cook tapioca pearls according to the package instructions.
  • Once cooked, rinse the pearls with cold water to prevent sticking, and soak them in a bit of sugar syrup or honey (optional) to sweeten.

3. Assemble the Drink

  • In a tall glass, add 1/4 cup of cooked tapioca pearls.
  • Fill the glass with ice, leaving room for tea and milk.
  • Pour 8 oz of the brewed tea concentrate into the glass.
  • Add 4-6 oz of milk or your preferred dairy-free alternative.
  • Stir gently to combine. Add sweetener if desired (though Tiger Stripe is naturally sweet and may not need additional sugar).

4. Serve

  • Insert a wide straw, stir, and enjoy your creamy, Thai-inspired Tiger Stripe Boba Tea!
